Default Should this run Guild Wars 2 particularly well?

I've been away for a while, and consequently, I don't know if the devs have released tentative recommended system specs for GW2 yet. However, in case they have, can someone tell me if this should be sufficient for a good Guild Wars 2 machine? GW is now the only PC game I play, and I anticipate GW2 will supercede that.

- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000 3.10GHz (Socket AM2)
- Asus M3A78 AMD 780G (Socket AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2
- ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express)

Obviously there's the HDD, PSU and the rest, but they don't directly contribute and I know they'll be good enough; it's really just the processor and graphics card I'm concerned about.

I want to order it this week; I need to replace my current computer as it's going to give up the ghost soon, so I hope someone can give me some advice.

I think the only thing that they have said about the requirements for GW2 is that they will be similar to GW1. That basically means that GW2 should run fine on that machine, but also, similar to GW1, there will be levels of graphics detail that will require more than the minimum. How much power you'll need to run GW2 at any particular graphics level is not known yet, but I suspect that, that computer will run it toward the high end - depending also upon the resolution of your monitor. It takes a lot more GPU power to run at, for example, 1680x1050 than it does at 1024x768.

Guild Wars 2 isn't even in beta, nobody can answer your question. Anything other than that will be speculation.

While it will be speculation, I bet that machine will run it.

What Quaker said. While they did not provide details on system requirements they did reassure that GW2 should run on most machines.

*beats dead horse*

NOBODY knows what GW2 will take to run well at this poing, likely Anet doesn't know for sure either...

With that said, I suspect your configuration will handle it just fine at any normal resolution with high or highest settings.
